In Cobertos pelo Céu [Covered by the Sky], Ciríaco is inspired by significant experiences of landscape that have influenced the spatial poetics of Portuguese and South American artists. By immersing himself in these artists' experiences, Ciríaco proposes a reflection on how spatial poetics involve cultural and geographical contexts. Driven by curiosity about how artists perceive and express the world through space, as well as the intersection between art, space and poetic signature, Ciríaco embarks on a journey of discovery through the spatial poetics of these creators and their unique ways of being mirrors of the world.
Part of the Cobertos pelo Céu [Covered by Sky] collection, with CÉREBRO, choreographer Gustavo Ciríaco is inspired by an experience of space lived by Portuguese sculptor Miguel Palma to translate this artist's spatial poetics into public space with the creation of an interactive labyrinth inspired by machine brains. In Ponta Delgada, the project will consist of a public sharing of the creative process of the piece in Azorean landscapes.
CÉREBRO is a collaboration with architects Hugo Reis, Filipa Frois and António Lasalvia, from FAHR 012.3, a creative and experimental studio that (de)focuses its work between Art and Architecture.
