Atelier "Caldeiras", located in Porto, is first and foremost a multifaceted workspace. It remains open to collective artistic work, with ideals of sharing and discussion. It also seeks to gather, through working sessions or exhibitions, local or non-local, national and international artists, to stimulate the taste for creation. The Atelier seeks to be a democratic place where all ages, levels of experience, and artistic recognition are invited and appreciated.

Recently, they organized two collective exhibitions: the first "AI the AIS of Tanta Gente" was based on the idea of works of art as a theatrical stage where criticism is dramatic and ironic, the second exhibition is a search for a context of the work of atelier of painting in the country. With the title "Manual Encardido", they were looking for a bit of the "lost" spirit of the artist dirty of paint and turpentine, who paints alone, and in a self-reflective way.
