Anda&Fala - Associação Cultural is promoting the Illustration Competition - Drawing for Democracy 2024, as part of the Transmalhar project, aiming to involve young people living on the island of São Miguel in developing their creativity, imagination, and critical thinking. This illustration competition aims to select up to 5 (five) works for the production of t-shirts that will be part of the Assembly in Movement - Transmalhar for Democracy. This performative act aims to celebrate 50 years of Democracy in Portugal, in the city of Ponta Delgada. The people/groups with the selected works will have the opportunity to take a screen printing workshop with Oficinas de São Miguel and follow the entire process of producing the materials.

Prize
– Selection of up to 5 (five) works/illustrations
– Participation in a screen printing workshop with the Oficinas de São Miguel team
– Selected illustrations printed on t-shirts in the Assembly in Movement - Transmalhar for Democracy

Young people living on the island of São Miguel, aged between 14 and 25
