Walk&Talk — Bienal de Artes invites applications from young people living in São Miguel, aged between 15 and 20, of which five will be selected. The competition aims to encourage artistic expression and collaboration in innovative projects in the field of visual arts, culminating in a public presentation at the Walk&Talk Biennial in September 2025.

The competition stems from a proposal selected by the Azores Participatory Budget: Project 22/OP22, previously called Arte 9 — Concurso de Jovens Criativos.

SUPPORT
Creation grants: 300€
Selection of up to 5 young people/groups
Support for 6 months
(mentoring sessions and workshops with artists and curators)
Public presentations in the island's 6 municipalities

CALENDAR
Start of the competition: February 13, 2025.
Registration closes: March 14, 2025.
Announcement of results: March 25, 2025.
Mentoring sessions: to be determined (from April to September 2025).
Workshops: April 15-17; July 15-17.
Final presentations: from September 25, 2025.
